Be Intentional, Not Passive

You want to know the secret to getting things done and being productive? Being intentional!

Being intentional has been a life lesson for me and many others, I’m sure. When you are being intentional, you are pushing yourself to meet goals and do things you need to do even when you don’t feel like it. Being intentional is about more than writing a list of things to do, its making the items on your list a priority. When you prioritize your list, you will begin to have those things in the forefront of your mind. When you are intentional you are doing things with a purpose and you have an expectation of the outcome. When I’m intentional I get so much more done than when I’m being passive.

Being passive is having the attitude of “It will get done when it gets done.” Most of the time people who are passive are nonchalaunt and it takes them longer to get things done. They will have a list of things to do but still say things like “I can do this later, it doesn’t have to get done now.” Many of us have been in this situation where we have had a passive attitude toward things when we should have been intentional.

So, I felt like you all wouldn’t be able to fully get a clear understanding of this unless I explained it further via a video, so…check it out below!
