  1. The closest I felt to God in my life was….(finish the sentence)

When I rededicated my life and got baptized in 2008.

  1. If you could thank God for just one incident in your life what would it be and why?

For redirecting my path, and revealing to me the steps i needed to take to get to where i am now. At one point in my life i was lost, and i didn’t know where i was headed. Today although I haven’t yet achieved all that he has planned he has brought me and blessed me with more than I could have expected for my life.

  1. If you could name a turning point in your life with your relationship with God what would it be and why?

In 2008 when i rededicated my life to God.  Because i tried so many times to focus on God but i was not consistent. I was always so down and focused on everything else in my life that was going wrong. That particular year God revealed to me so many things, but most of all he reunited me with my high-school Sweetheart who came into my life to speak Gods word and reminded me Gods plan for me. Since, i have walked side of my husband and have built a relationship with God. What have you learned through your testimony? Your situation and circumstances maybe the worst, but its in those moments you have to know that thats the worst is going to get because when your at your lowest their is no where else to go but come up. Trust God, focus on him, seek positive support, and build a relationship with God in the mist of the storm. Did you face any mental barriers? If so, what were they and how did you overcome them? Most of what i was going through as a child and pre-teen really played apart on how I behaved as a teenager and in early 20s. I think i let too much of the negative things that occurred make me feel like i didn’t believe in myself. I had no one to really look up to or motivate me to keep going through the hard days. I tried to convince myself no i am going to be great i have what it takes but i was still having a hard time. It wasn’t until i turned fully to focus on God that i began to have people around me who supported me and i felt his power and felt encouraged, and i started to see my life change and my mindset changed. Having a support system and building a relationship with God! What specific bible verse helped you through?  Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. If there was one thing you would tell yourself 10 years ago what would it be? Stay focused and don’t get focused on the the things that are going wrong and instead pay attention to the good things in your life.
